Dance We Must

In 2018 Caroline custom made and adapted 30 mannequins for the exhibition Dance We Must: Treasure from Jacob’s Pillow, 1904-1940, at Williams College Museum of Art in collaboration with Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival.  The exhibition ran from June – November 2018. A selection of these costumes were mounted again for the exhibition Dance We Must: Another Look at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Massachusetts, June – September 2019. Photos copyright Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival.

Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival

In 2017 Caroline created a new mount for Barton Mumaw’s Pierrot in the Dead City costume from the early 1930s. Photos copyright Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival.

Giberg London

In 2016 Caroline restored and mounted a 1980s reconstruction of Anna Pavlova’s Dying Swan tutu for a series of Anna Pavlova themed launch events for Swiss luxury jewellery brand Giberg. 

Silent Partners

In 2015 Caroline was costume mounter for the exhibition Silent Partners: Prima Ballerina Evelyn Hart’s Signature Costumes from an Extraordinary Career. The exhibition opened at Woodstock Art Gallery, Ontario, Canada, and ran from October 2015 – January 2016.

The Museum of London

in 2011/12 Caroline assisted Hilary Davidson with the mounting of The Ballets Russes costume collection at the Museum of London for their Collections Online project. Photos copyright Museum of London.
